The 2014 Season for the Back Porch is gearing up! We’re getting excited!
I’m very proud of my clients at the Albemarle Inn — they’ve been working so hard over the holidays to bake and publish this book! They all look delicious — enjoy! Download here: Albemarle-Inn-24-Recipes-Final
I’m so honored to share some photos from my wonderful friend’s wedding. It was a beautiful, warm October day for Katie and Rob to exchange vows in a beautiful garden overlooking green fields with blue water in the distance…. The entire day couldn’t have been lovelier. While I don’t normally do wedding photography, I couldn’t turn down the offer to be there for my friends. And I am so glad I did. 🙂
I’d like to say that I haven’t been keeping up with my blog because I’ve been too busy cooking delicious things like this Cinnamon Sugar Pull-Apart Bread from Annie’s Eats, but actually things here at Thumbnail Designs have just been too busy! So, I’m making an effort to work on a better balance of life in general — including more posts on my blog which I love to do, and taking the time for more homemade foods like this…
How cool is this — a wine cellar that can fit easily in your floor and can hold up to 1,900 bottles of wine! What an exquisite design! That’s just what Spiral Cellars from the UK has brought us — “the quickest, cheapest and easiest way of building a wine cellar for your house.” Visit their website to learn more.
Found these wonderful fiesta-inspired pieces on Etsy.com today! They’re from Clayswan’s shop and the colors just make me smile. She really sums it up in her Etsy profile, “The work is functional and playful, it is meant to be used, enjoyed … basically, make you happy ~ have fun!” Who wouldn’t want to enjoy eating with these?
